Music: none (on the weekends they have Jazz but not during the Wine on Wednesdays)
Seating: Limited bar seating inside but plenty of table seating in the sculpture garden which is where you want to be if the weather permits!
Price: 50% off wine and champange is great the food costs can get pricey but they do offer a $12 dinner menu on Tuesdays and reduced price on wine. Definitely will have to return on a Tuesday for that special because the food is delicious.
Food: Delicious!!! (try the oysters or the pulled pork sliders)
Parking: Street parking is pretty convenient and .50 an hour. There is also a lot for the museum but it is small and not sure of the cost.
Overall: I give Gertrude's on a Wednesday an 7.5 out of 10. There should be some music for ambiance and they should offer specials on the food with the wine to make the Wednesday deal more attractive. It is a nice place to go to have a relaxing drink after work. If you are looking to meet other young people (that didn't come with you) this is NOT the place. If you are looking to relax with some friends this is a good option for that.
Wednesday night at Gertrude's was fun-filled. The half off wine also included champange and we sat outside in the sculpture garden enjoying the wonderful weather and just relaxing. The only things that could have made the night better would be background music (or any music) and food discounts (the food was yummy especially the oysters!) Definitely a place to check out!
