Today was the inaugural event of The HAPPY HOUR CREW and man was it fun!! After a few bumps (see post below) the night ended great. Chazz was not on my radar as a happy hour spot but the drink and food specials were awesome.
Music: perfect volume, wide range.
Seating: limited if you aren't having dinner
Price: excellent
Food: good (what we had was excellent but we only tried one thing thus we could not give the food a better rating.)
Parking: $9 valet or street parking (I drove around for 30 mins before breaking down and paying the $9 to valet. Not a fan)
Overall: I give Chazz a 7.5 out of 10. Valet should be cheaper and there should be more seating in the bar area.
Chazz, like Pazo, has a $5 drinks and select food happy hour menu. The drink of the night had a fresh basil leaf and strawberry in it, by far a crew favorite. One crew member ordered a goat cheese, mushroom pizza that tasted as wonderful as it smelled. The servers were fun and the atmosphere amenable to hanging out and lounging with friends. The bar was in the middle of the restaurant with the dinner tables surrounding it which was a little awkward and there wasn't much seating but overall two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Chazz will definitely be visited again. While it is too soon to make it a favorite, Chazz has a lot of good qualities and could become a top contender for happy hour in Harbor East.
